Who writes this site
I'm Jaroslav Bryndza, a programmer and data analyst by trade. Astrology drew me in a long time ago—and for just as long it bothered me how many horoscopes are written without a single look at the actual sky. That's why zodisigns.com exists: a site where every reading starts from planetary positions computed for the specific day and verified against the Swiss Ephemeris standard, and only then applies the classical rules of astrology—sign rulers, elements, modalities, and aspects.
I'm not a credentialed astrologer and I don't pretend to be one. I'm a technologist who checked astrology against the numbers and writes about it calmly, without the mystical fog. Every text on this site passes through my reading, and I take responsibility for it. If you find a mistake—in a calculation, a date, or a sentence—write to contact@zodisigns.com; corrections are ongoing.
Beyond this site: my personal page jaroslav.sk and my profile on GitHub.
What the readings stand on
An exact sky. The positions of the Sun, the Moon, and the planets are computed from astronomical ephemerides for every single day, in the tropical zodiac, for noon Eastern Time. Retrograde phases, sign ingresses, lunar phases, and full moons are real events with precise timing—not estimates. Every horoscope shows them to you in its sky panel.
Daily, weekly, and monthly horoscopes follow what is actually happening overhead in that stretch of time: the Moon's sign and its relation to yours, the aspects between planets, the phases, stations, and ingresses. The interpretive texts are original; they are assembled to match the current sky, so two days with the same configuration share the same base reading, while a different sky always reads differently.
Sign profiles are long-form editorial texts: personality, the three decans of each sign, love, career, and health—each written for that sign, not adapted from a template. The decans follow the classical Chaldean order, the same system the daily pages use.
The calculators (birth chart and rising sign) run entirely in your browser. Your birth date, time, and place are never sent to a server and never stored anywhere.
What this site is and is not
I treat astrology as a language of symbols and a tool for self-reflection with a tradition thousands of years deep—not as a science that predicts events. A horoscope on zodisigns.com is a prompt for thought and a calm companion to the day. It does not replace a doctor, a therapist, or a financial advisor, and it should never be the only reason for a major decision.
Editorial principles
- Every reading is anchored in a specific sky configuration you can see on the page; nothing is written from thin air.
- Facts—dates, times, positions, names—are checked against sources, and confirmed errors get fixed.
- There are no paid or sponsored texts on this site. If ads ever appear, they are labeled as ads and have no influence on the content.
- The texts are mine; from outside sources I take only facts, and I credit them.
- What you type into the calculators never leaves your browser. What the site does process, and why, is described in the privacy policy.
